The U.S. House of Representatives has Started Monitoring Textbook Prices

Beginning in the summer of 2006, the House’s Advisory Committee on Student Financial Assistance will take a one-year look at the rising costs of textbooks and make recommendations to lawmakers and interested parties on ways to make books more affordable.
