To enroll, you will need the date of birth and Social Security number for yourself and the person you are naming as the beneficiary. If you have multiple beneficiaries, you must open a separate account for each.
The minimum to open an account is $250, or you can open an account by contributing a minimum of $25 per month in an automatic contribution plan as a payroll deduction or have funds securely withdrawn directly from your checking account. If your accout is set-up using your checking account, you will need your account and routing numbers.
Once completed, you will receive a confirmation by email and regular mail.
